This web application provides a modern and responsive way to view the Holy Bible. These two factors have been the primary driving force of the app’s development and can be seen through the following features of the site:

• Endless scrolling through randomly generated Bible verses - A modern Bible study approach, inspired by social media scrolling, minus the negativity, toxicity, and other harmful effects of consuming such content.
• Instantaneous Bible searching and querying - The entire Bible is available directly within the browser, allowing users to use the search bar for specific parts, topics, words, names, etc.
• Expanding a Bible verse in view (by clicking/tapping on it) and navigating to the next or previous verse(s).

Why it was created

Many people these days often find themselves scrolling various forms of content and media on their devices. This can include news outlets, social media sites, blogs, etc. However, some individuals are plagued with a lust of consuming what they perceive to be negative content, yet cannot draw themselves from doing so for whatever reason - be it to combat boredom or due to the oftentimes addictive nature of ‘scrolling endlessly’.

This application seeks to provide individuals that perceive the Holy Bible as a positive influence on their life with the ability to scroll its contents in a medium that is akin to said potentially negative content sources.

Additionally, this application can be utilized as a fast and responsive way to easily query the Bible or search its contents for particular words, sentences, names, sections, and more.
